WHY DO WE COST LESS? - basically, it's because, we are factory direct. If we add a national distributor, a north-east distributor, a state distributor and a city distributor - they all have make $ when you buy a float = a higher cost to YOU!
Another reason is; we have a marine grade aluminum frame - surrounding our floats - for the purpose of connecting our floats together, and this allows us to require very few "connectors" to connect one float to another.
This frame also allows you to bolt on, cleat on, attach whatever accessory you want anywhere you want along the perimeter of our floats - you don't have to use a "Special cleat made only for our dock" - you can put any cleat you have lying around - anywhere along the perimeter and know that it is bolted down thru an aluminum frame!
We don't have any "special" holes or locations for bumpers - use whoever's bumpers or attachments you want and put them anywhere along the float.
We have a better warranty than most of the competition. 15 years limited warranty.
We are lighter in weight and as a result - more portable, and cost less to ship. Our floating docks are installed in 75% of the cases by the customer, and don't require a barge to remove them if they need to be taken out at the end of the season. We are the only float manufacturer that can make your dock whatever height you want it: Accudock's unique manufacturing process allows us to make your float whatever height you desire - this allows us to cater to Kayakers and Rowers, providing them with floats with as little as 7" and even 5 inches of surface height above the water. We are the only company in the world that can make floats as little as 2 inches up to 98 inches in height.
We are the only float manufacturer that can guarantee that our floats corners and ends are thicker and stronger than the rest of the float: This is because our unique process allows us to make the corners and ends as thick and strong as we want to.
We are the only plastic based modular dock that you can deck with any material you desire - or use the existing non-skid surface as your deck: Our floats currently only come in white unless you order 35 floats, and then you can name your color. However you can also deck the float with any type of wood, aluminum, or composite lumber - utilizing the marine grade aluminum frame that surrounds the perimeter of our floats.
If you have a redwood fixed dock, and want your floating dock to match - you can deck it with redwood!
Our floats can't sink - they have a solid foam block inside. Polystyrene (foam) inside the float adds an additional safety factor to your floating dock or marina. We also have the ability to put any quality foam you specify inside your floats!
