STEP TWO: CHOOSE YOUR METHOD OF INSTALLATION
Will I need anything else to install this dock?
It depends on how and what you are going to attach it to.
Tie-up (OK): Cleats - to tie off to, to hold your dock in position: $15 each with hardware.
Free standing installation (BETTER): 3" pipe hoop connectors. $45 each and 2 1/2" pipe.
We have two types - one which can attach anywhere along the frame and the other which connects in the end slots of the frame. Pipe (which is purchased locally) is then driven down into the seabed, and can be covered with a section of PVC for cosmetic purposes.
Attach to a dock/seawall or pilings (BEST): Slide assemblies - explained fully with pictures on the Slide Assemblies Page, are the most stable and secure method of installing or attaching your dock - especially if you encounter boat traffic and boat wakes.

Slide assemblies are $749/pair and usually only two slides are required for up to 60' of dock.

STEP THREE: SELECT YOUR ACCESSORIES
What other accessories are available?
Overhead assist bar: $149 - standard height 36 inches - can be made higher and lower to help with getting in or out. More than one bar can be used - some customers prefer a low bar to get under their armpit - or lean their arm on - while pulling their body up with the higher bar.

If you have pre-ordered a floating dock from the AccuDock Factory and specified where you would like bump strip installed, your bump strip will be measured and cut to fit your dock, and installed on the float with mitered corners. $7.50 per foot. Depending on the dock - all the bump strip may not be able to be installed prior to delivery - but will be cut to fit for you, so you can install it once the dock is connected together.
Uninstalled bump strip is shipped in 10' sections @ $5.50 per foot - see instructions on How To Install Bump Strips.

Other options: You may elect to make the slip longer or deck larger - it's a matter of adding

STEP FOUR: ARE YOU GOING TO INSTALL YOUR DOCK - OR DO
YOU NEED AN INSTALLER?
How do I install this dock or do I need an installer?
About 50% of our customers self install our docks. Tie off, and pipe hoop methods are very easy, but even 50% of our customers install the slide assemblies. Full instructions are available at our HELP & SUPPORT section.
STEP FIVE: GET A SHIPPING QUOTATION
What does it cost to ship this kayak dock? Our kayak docks are shipped on a pallet. You will need a shipping quote and it can be delivered to the nearest shipping depot and held for pick-up (least expensive) or be brought out to your home for an additional fee. Please supply your zip code and name of your city - and we will supply you with both quotes - depot/home.
