Its centerpiece, the 50-acre Skyview Lake, teems with life, including herons, muskrats, turtles, ducks, bass, and the occasional loon. A nearly two-mile trail encircles the lake, perfect for leisurely strolls. The park comes alive in summer with a concert series and the dazzling Big Bang Boom! fireworks show—hailed as the Midwest’s largest. Bright kayaks dot the lake’s surface from spring through fall, adding splashes of color to the scenic beauty.

The City of Norfolk, Nebraska embarked on a mission to enhance waterfront accessibility by seeking a skilled floating dock manufacturer to construct an ADA compliant dock tailored to kayak and water sport enthusiasts. Recognizing the importance of inclusivity, the City of Norfolk mandated stringent design criteria to ensure the dock not only met the highest safety and functionality standards but also seamlessly integrated into the surrounding environment, providing equitable access for all individuals.

About the Solution
This meticulously crafted AccuDock system boasts a spacious 24′ x 60′ ADA compliant floating dock, paired with two 5′ x 35′ aluminum gangways, ensures safe and easy access to the water. Premium features include non-slip PVC decking, sturdy side railings, custom handrails, and roll off edge guards for enhanced safety. Four integrated PVC decked benches offer convenient seating while complementing the dock’s overall aesthetic, creating the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the views.
