Lake Stevens, WA
City of Lake Stevens
 |
The City of Lake Stevens contacted Accudock last summer to develop and build a custom rowing dock to replace an old wooden dock. The 8’ x 90’ low profile rowing dock plans called for 25% light transmission panels which required engineering to come up with a custom solution. Accudock was able to fabricate the custom pieces to meet the unique requirements and provided a brand new dock for the City of Lake Stevens that was assembled Dec. 2011.

Accudock was called upon to build a floating dock with ramp for an office park in Knoxville, TN. Using our heavy duty aluminum framed dock, we fabricated two 8’ x 16’ sections and an 8’ x 24’ aluminum gangway. All components of this setup were decked with a hard PVC composite decking of choice for an aesthetic finish, and it was installed in the last week of 2011.

creating heavy wake at times.
Hinge pins were installed every
few sections to allow for free
flow movement when rough
conditions were present.

SPG Solar contacted Accudock for a portable floating walkway to access a floating assembly of solar panels. The solar panels were generating electricity for a wine vineyard in Oakville, CA. The vineyard and sister winery wanted to preserve as much vineyard property as possible, so SPG Solar came up with the floating structure utilizing the vineyard’s water reservoir. Accudock was happy to provide our part to this environmentally friendly project.

At a water treatment facility in West Virginia, maintenance teams needed to access a trough with a 45 degree angle. Accudock built an angled float section to run alongside the trough, along with a "bridge-like" system that allows the entire dock to not sit on the lakebed when the pond is drained for servicing.

When the University of Alabama needed to replace their wooden rowing dock, they contacted AccuDock to assist them with the perfect solution. The river they row on has extreme tidal fluctuations during spring tides and required a 30’ gangway with two 30’ control arms that would address their water level concerns.
